How to get over major heartache?

I was in a relationship with a girl for one year and four months and last nite she dumped me. i thiught she was the one i was marrying. we were always talking about it and she never seemed like she was going to just leave. I was always so positive, but now i'm contemplating doing very bad things. I need this heartache to stop. It's killing me.
