Can I go to the united states of America If I'm a refugee?

You seem very bright, well-educated, and motivated. We'd love to have you, but refugees cannot apply directly to enter another country. First, you have to get to a UN refugee camp. Many Syrians have fled to Turkey. Once you are registered in the camp, you will live there for awhile, and if your country doesn't stabilize, then UN staff will pick a country for you to resettle. Refugees don't get to pick the country for the simple reason that everybody would pick a rich country in North America, the EU, or Australia. If you have a lot of family already in the US, then the UN might place you there if it can, but there are no guarantees.
