Indiana Jones before he was?

Tom Sellick was supposed to be Indiana Jones but, he was shooting Magnum P.I. at the time and the studio wouldn't let him out of his contract to film Raiders of the Lost Arch. So Speilberg and George Lucas went with Harrison Ford who had worked on George Lucas' first film "American Graffiti". I hope this helps and keep an eye out for the next Indiana Jones film which is being filmed as we speak.
