Is it safe to travel to Bangkok this weekend (Sep12-13)?

Thai PM declared the country to be under a state of emergency in early Sep. I'm wondering if I should cancel my vacation to Bangkok this weekend or not. My itinerary is basically to go shopping in Chatuchak, etc. Is it safe?
