When Adolf Hitler tried to breed a super race, was he isting the evolutionary process?

He thought so, yes. He had works of Otto Weininger on his shelves. Weininger said that women were soulless and should be made to die out even if that ends the human race. He also felt that Jews were effeminate and therefore also inferior and should come to an end. Then he realised that this meant that he, a Jew, must commit suicide and so he did. He was obviously mad but his theories that masculine men were the sign of evolution and women and effeminate men were a sign of devolution were very popular.
