Gelding with bucking problem any help??

I have a 8 yo buckskin gelding, hes looks amazing, but anyway i run barrels on him and when i ride him he has a big bucking prolbem and is barn sour, i was riding him in a comp. one day when i was raceing him we were just coming around the second barrel and he threw me right into it, wasnt hurt and i got to make another run, there was nothing there to spoke him and he was doing fine on my first run i dont know why. also i was riding him at a clinic i was riding around and on hte second time around he seen the barn and took of in a dead run i tried to stop him but he kept running even when i turned his head and he started buck, i was told he bucked like a rodeo horse, finally he threw me off and i broke my shoulder and blacked out, i have another horse now hes a 16 yo gelding Doc Bar Heartache, but i dont know what to do with buckskin i want to keep him to run barrels, but i dont know what to do i dont want to sell him could his bucking have to do with bood lines he has bad incredible
